Discontinuation of the old Digipoort as of 1 November 2026

Dear Sir/Madam,

As of 1 November 2026, the old Digipoort environment will no longer be available for users of message flow Dividend Withholding Tax.
On this date, the Netherlands Tax and Customs Administration will permanently shut down communication via the old Digipoort for this specific message flow. Our monitoring shows that nearly all messages in this flow are already being submitted through the new Digipoort.

This means that the connections used by you or your customers will be phased out earlier than the general transition moment.

What does this mean for you?

• Your software already communicates fully via the new Digipoort 
  No action is required. As of 1 November, messages from you or your customers will be processed exclusively through the new Digipoort.
• Messages sent via the old Digipoort will no longer be accepted 
  The old environment will be permanently closed for users as of this date.
• On‑premises software at your customers  If you provide on‑premises software, please ensure that your customers have installed the required update. Otherwise, they will no longer be able to submit messages via the old Digipoort after 1 November.

Relation to 1 December 2026
The shutdown on 1 November applies specifically to your message flow, Dividend Withholding Tax. On 1 December 2026, the same transition will take place for all remaining electronic message flows still using the old Digipoort.
